Does Gentle Games collect any personal data?
No. Gentle Games collects absolutely no personal data. The app stores only your local settings (sound, animation preference, last pair count) on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
Is Gentle Games free?
Yes. Gentle Games is completely free with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no subscription model.
Is Gentle Games open source?
Yes. The full source code is available on GitHub under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPLv3). You are free to view, modify, and redistribute the code under the terms of that license.
The app sounds are too loud / too quiet.
Open the Settings screen (gear icon on the home screen) and adjust the volume slider. You can also toggle sounds off entirely. The app respects your device's media volume as well.
How do I turn off animations?
Open the Settings screen and toggle the "Animations" option off. All flip and celebration animations will be disabled immediately.
Memory Snap seems too easy / too hard.
On the game selection screen, tap "Memory Snap" and choose from Easy (6–10 pairs), Medium (12–18 pairs), or Hard (20–30 pairs). You can also adjust the exact number of pairs using the slider.
What is Keepy Uppy easy mode?
There is an Easy Mode toggle on the Settings screen that makes each tap give the balloon a gentle upward lift, so lighter or less precise taps still help keep it afloat. The option applies only to the Keepy Uppy game.
How do I clear my drawing?
On the Drawing Pad screen, tap the trash icon (Clear All) to remove everything on the canvas. You can also use the Undo button to remove the last stroke or shape one at a time.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Please open an issue on the GitHub issue tracker. Include your device type, OS version, app version, and a description of the problem with steps to reproduce it.
